Course Description:

AP French Language and Culture students practice perfecting listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in preparation for the AP exam. Students who take AP French are expected to have a good command of French grammar and vocabulary and have competence in listening, reading, speaking, and writing. Students study vocabulary, grammar, and cultural aspects of the language, and then apply what they have learned in extensive written and spoken exercises. The equivalent of a college-level course, AP French Language prepares students for the AP exam and for further study of French language, culture, or literature. Students who are enrolled in AP French are expected to take the AP French Language Exam in May.
