In addition to the Health course requirement (1 semester), all students must take at least one semester of coursework in OLP's Health and Fitness Department. Students must also pass the Fitnessgram, California's state-designated Physical Fitness Test. Students who do not pass five out of the six Healthy Fitness Zones on the Fitnessgram must enroll in OLP's Health and Fitness Department courses until an overall passing score is obtained. Any OLP CIF sport or ISPE can only count sophomore through senior year as long as the Fitnessgram is passed.
