Diversity of Saints Wall

Welcome to the Shiley Center for Science and Innovation! As part of our commitment to being an inclusive community, we celebrate the beauty of diversity within our OLP community. One way we are celebrating our diversity is through this dedicated wall in Shiley Hall featuring 4 diverse Catholic saints. This wall is adorned by Lebanese mosaics of St. Kateri, the first Native American saint, St. Josephine of Bakhita, the first saint from Sudan, St. Marina of Omura from Japan, and Saint Laura Montoya from Colombia. Additionally, a TV mounted on this wall allows for students of other faith traditions to share features of women in their religions who have done great things for our world.
