OLP Welcomes Exchange Student, Ale Carrizo

OLP Welcomes Exchange Student, Ale Carrizo

By Alexa Camarena-Gamboa ’10, Communications Coordinator

This is the first year OLP welcomes an exchange student through the SAHS exchange program. It is a month-long program that allows the exchange student to experience what a day at OLP looks like and the beautiful city of San Diego.

Ale is a student at Saints in Panama. She was the only girl chosen to come to San Diego along with two of her classmates. She is thrilled to be here and says, “San Diego is very beautiful.”

Elizabeth Gravitt ‘19 happily volunteered to host Ale during her stay in San Diego. Elizabeth, her brother, and her parents are happy to have Ale and have taken her sightseeing to places like Sunset Cliffs as well as the USS Midway Museum. Ale will also be attending the Miss OLP Ball and will be bringing a date from Saints.

We are so happy to have you on campus, Ale! We hope that this experience continues to be as rewarding as possible. Enjoy your time at OLP!

OLP Students: Ale will be on campus until February 20. She is wearing a sweatshirt with an OLP logo on it and jeans. If you see her make sure to say hi and meet a new friend from Panama!
