Watch “The Greeks” at OLP!

"The Iliad, The Odyssey, and All of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less," or "The Greeks," is a fast-paced comic explosion! We all know that Greece is the home to much of the foundation of Western culture: democracy, philosophy, and the theatre traditions of Tragedy and Comedy.

"The Greeks" is originally performed by five actors, zero crew, and many props. We are producing the show with 30 actors, 20 crew, and even more props!

Plus, those 30 actors will play nearly 100 characters! All your favorites: Hercules, Medusa, Zeus, Hera, Athena, Pandora, the Cyclops, the Minotaur, and so much more!

Some plays and musicals almost demand that you perform them in a particular style, but this one has allowed us to truly make it our own. Original music by Isabelle Islas '23, sound design by Petra Estrada '22 and Lauren Crane '22, sets, props, lighting, dance, and special effects by our large team.

The stories of Greek Mythology are belly-laugh funny one minute and profound sorrow the next, and this show deeply explores the highs and the lows. Plus, you’ll be that much closer to getting a five on your AP World History test!

Show dates are April 7, 8, 9 at 7:00 pm in OLP's outdoor Aquinas Amphitheatre. Huge thanks to Mr. Moreno and Pilot Productions who will be livestreaming the Friday night show!
