In response to last night’s shooting in Georgia, the Academy of Our Lady of Peace is calling for peace and urging for the end of violence. We are devastated by the loss of eight lives in Atlanta.
In the last year, the United States has witnessed an increase in hate crimes against the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.
The charism of our Sisters of St. Joseph calls for “unifying love” and caring for the dear neighbor. We stand in support and hold in our hearts the AAPI community. We see you and we grieve with you. You are seen. You matter. You are loved.
OLP remains committed to standing against racism and violence.
