Donuts for Dads and Daughters
Start your day with donuts, coffee and juice with your Dads! On Tuesday, April 25 from 7:00-8:00 am, the St. Joseph’s Dads’ Club will be on North Terrace serving delicious Nomad donuts with “wake-me-up” drinks. Donuts, coffee and juice will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a late start on April 25 at 8:05 am (no section), and parking will be available on the upper level of the Parking Structure and surrounding neighborhood.
2017 CSJ High Schools Leadership Conference June 6-9 at MSMU, Los Angeles
This is an incredible opportunity for you to meet your CSJ sisters from the other CSJ high schools in California (Carondelet High School, St. Joseph’s Lakewood and St. Mary’s Academy) at a three-day leadership Conference at MSMU in Los Angeles. Applications are open to 9th, 10th and 11th grade students and are available at the Campus Life Office, Council of 10 Office and in the Jupiter downloads. We can only choose eight OLP students to attend this Conference. There is a $100.00 fee to attend, which covers transportation to and from the Conference, meals and lodging on the MSMU campus and other Conference incidentals. Students may apply for the Sr. Joyce Hampel Scholarship to cover this fee. Applications to the Conference are due to the Campus Life Office by Friday, April 28 at 7:45 am.

As a reminder, completed eligibility forms for Class Council 2017-18 elections are due on Tuesday, April 11.
Summer Technology Program
Brochures from iDTech publicizing summer technology programs are available in the Front Office. There are over 150 prestigious locations nationwide where students will learn to code apps, design video games, assemble take-home laptops, explore cyber security and many other exciting opportunities. You may also view their online summer resources on their website.
OLP Appalachia Immersion Trip: May 28-June 3, 2017
The mission of the OLP Appalachian Immersion Trip (specifically, West Virginia) is to learn from and serve the Appalachian people through the Catholic community, Nazareth Farm. Focused on the Gospel message, Nazareth Farm offers a service-retreat experience, inspired by the four cornerstones of community, simplicity, prayer and service. This trip is an opportunity for the students to explore contemporary Appalachian challenges such as mountain-top removal, natural gas extraction (“fracking”), poverty, hunger, and education, as well as the incredible work being done by the Appalachian people to resist their exploitation and stand for human dignity. During this immersion, students will assist with building porches, installing floors and working on additional projects needed in the region, while also building meaningful relationships with the community of Doddridge County, WV.
Dates: Sunday, May 28- Saturday, June 3, 2017
Location: Nazareth Farm in Center Point, West Virginia
Investment: $955 (Covers round-trip flight, food, 6 nights lodging at Nazareth Farm, ground transportation, and chaperone costs)
Open to: current frosh, sophomores & juniors
Service Hours: 40 hours of direct service

Senior CSF Application
Attention all seniors! It is finally time for your LAST registration period for CSF. Applications are now being accepted using your official 2017 3rd Quarter grades. Please remember that all applications require a completed form AND attached grade print-out in order to be accepted. Applications can be found on the school website, through your school email, or in Room 201 for hard copies. Completed applications are due to Ms. Cunningham (Room 201) no later than Monday, May 1, by the end of the day. Late applications will not be accepted. If you have any questions regarding CSF or want to know how many semesters you have been a member, please see Ms. Cunningham.
