Academic Tutoring Options
Students are encouraged to take advantage of two tutoring options if they need assistance in academic work. Peer Tutors from our National Honor Society will be available to assist students in almost every subject, Monday through Thursday, at lunch and after school in the Student Commons until 3:30 pm. You can view the schedule online here. There is no need to make an appointment; just stop by and our Peer Tutors will be happy to help!

Students may also take advantage of tutoring during G Block in the Student Commons. Math and Science tutoring is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays while English and Writing tutoring is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Walk ins are encouraged as students can drop by for up to 65 minutes of tutoring support. Additionally, all OLP faculty post “office hours” and are available for individual academic support during those times.

Let’s Donate Blood Together!
When you donate blood, you can save up to three lives. So what do you say... ready to save lives together?

Our Fall Semester drive takes place on Tuesday, September 26, from 8:45 am - 2:15 pm. Details about how to make an appointment to give blood and specific requirements will come through your school email. While we have enough volunteers already, you’re welcome to attend our committee meeting on September 21 during lunch in Room 108 if you’re interested in our club. (You must be 16 years old to donate.)

This year, the OLP Blood Drives will help with hurricane relief. The San Diego Blood Bank helps to keep blood banks around the country supplied with blood when their operations are suspended due to emergencies. When we donate, we help replenish the San Diego Blood Bank.

Parent & Student Travel Informational Meeting: New Date
Interested in participating in OLP's Travel Program this year? Come to our Parent & Student Informational Travel meeting on Tuesday, October 3, at 6:30 pm in the OLP Theatre. You will learn about each opportunity and the focus of each experience (ex: faith pilgrimage, cultural immersion, language immersion and service immersion). This year we have a Spring Break trip to France to explore our CSJ heritage and tradition and Service Immersion trips to Nicaragua, Los Angeles, West Virginia and Peru. Please email Mrs. Wilson at [email protected] with any questions.

Bethany Hamilton: Courage Over Fear @ OLP
On October 10, 2017, OLP will host world-renowned professional surfer, shark attack survivor, mom and inspirational leader Bethany Hamilton on campus for a day of empowering events. The day will begin with an Architects of Change @ School Live Conversation with Bethany (this is a school day event, and current students are free of charge). Then, Bethany will join a select group of guests for a more intimate lunch and Q&A session. In the evening, there are only four spots available for a highly exclusive and private experience with Bethany, her husband and son. Click here to purchase tickets and learn more.

PSAT Standardized Testing Day and College Fair: Wednesday, October 11
