Counselors’ Corner

The OLP Counseling Team subscribes to many podcasts and follows many blogs on topics that range from the college admissions process to social and emotional health. When we find an article that may be beneficial to our school community, we will post them in the weekly bulletin. One of the many blogs we follow is out of Georgia Tech. The Georgia Tech Admissions blog recently posted an article Focus on What You Can Control about the admissions process. This is a great reminder as our students begin or continue navigating the admissions process.

Coffee with Counselors
The first Coffee with Counselors is scheduled for September 4th from 8 — 9 am in St. Catherine’s — Pilot Cafe. Come learn about the grade-level programming available to support your daughter’s academic, college/career, and social/emotional needs. The counselors will also introduce freshman parents to Naviance and end with a discussion about the book, Enough As She Is by Rachel Simmons.
