Save the Date! Senior Family Brunch: Saturday, September 20th
In celebration of our Class of 2026 and their families, we are pleased to invite you to the Senior Family Brunch at the San Diego Zoo on Saturday, September 20th, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, celebrate the accomplishments of our seniors, and enjoy a delightful morning at one of the most iconic attractions in the city, the famous San Diego Zoo. The cost of the ticket is $100.00 per person and includes:
- Scrumptious brunch spread with a variety of options for all tastes
- Photo opportunities
- Games, raffles, music, and more
- ADMISSION to explore the zoo's exhibits and attractions at your leisure. Also included with your ticket are SkyFari, a guided bus tour, and a ride on the Kangaroo Bus.
As the date nears, Seniors and their parents/guardians will have the opportunity to select their table. Season ticket holders would still be required to purchase tickets to the brunch. Tickets must be purchased for all members attending the event, including seniors. Tickets are on sale now through September 4, 2025. TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE and can be purchased HERE!

Baccalaureate Mass:
May 20, 2026, at 6:00 pm with Reception Following
Commencement:
May 21, 2026, at 4:00 pm
BACCALAUREATE MASS
- Graduates arrive at 5:00 pm and enter campus at the double green doors near Campus Ministry. Only graduates are allowed through this entry. Report to your assigned classroom.
- Attendance will be taken in the classrooms promptly at 5:30 pm.
- Attire: all graduates must arrive fully dressed in their graduation robes with no cap, cords, medals, stoles, or leis for the Baccalaureate Mass. Attire for mass is expected to be white or off-white under their graduation robe. Be sure to steam/iron the graduation robe prior to wearing, as it will be wrinkled when you receive it.
- Dress shoes should be white, off white, or nude/golf in color. Remember to wear shoes that will support how much walking will be required throughout the event. Tennis shoes are not permitted.
- Belongings such as your phone, purse, or other personal items will be left in the classroom you are assigned to during the graduation ceremony.
- After mass, graduates and families are invited to a brief reception in the Holy Family Event Center for refreshments and treats.
COMMENCEMENT ATTIRE
- Graduate attire for the commencement ceremony is expected to be white or off-white under their graduation robe. Be sure to steam/iron the graduation robe prior to wearing as it will be wrinkled when you receive it.
- Dress shoes should be white, off white, or nude/gold in color. Remember to wear shoes that will support how much walking will be required throughout the event on Thursday. Tennis shoes are not permitted.
- The Graduate Cap may be decorated to celebrate something unique about you and your OLP journey. Please make sure decorations are flat on the cap and are in alignment with our mission as a Catholic, CSJ school.
- Over the Graduation Gown, only school-sponsored honor cords, medals, stoles, and a lei from OLP are allowed. OLP will provide the leis, which will be distributed on graduation day to your assigned room.
COMMENCEMENT DAY-OF PROTOCOLS AND REMINDERS
- Graduates must arrive dressed in regalia at 2:00 pm and enter through the double green doors near campus ministry. (Graduates only through this entrance)
- Elementary School Group Photos will be taken on upper plaza. Graduates will have their schedule and instructions sent to them via email and Schoology. We will not be able to hold any photos for those running late. Please be on time.
- Attendance will be called in assigned classrooms promptly at 3:30 pm, after which time you will begin lining up. Graduates will stay in their assigned classroom until the announcement is made to line up.
- Belongings such as your phone, purse, or other personal items will be left in the classroom you are assigned to during the graduation ceremony.
- On stage, you receive your diploma, and then you will pause for a photo on the center stage with Dr. Lek. Then, you will pause stage left for a professional individual photograph (Circle Drive side). Photographs will be accessible through the OLP SmugMug account.
- Following graduation, students will process back to their assigned classrooms in Navarra Hall to retrieve their belongings.
Graduation Logistics for All Guests and Attendees
PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION
The OLP Parking Structure off Copley Avenue will have limited ADA spots, with proof of a handicap placard.
As parking around campus in the neighborhood is extremely limited, we encourage guests to use our off-site parking lot or a transportation service such as Uber or Lyft. Additional parking information coming soon.
Please remember that graduates must be present at 5:00 PM sharp for the Baccalaureate Mass and 2:00 PM for graduation and should be fully dressed in their regalia.
ARRIVAL
- Tickets are not needed for the Baccalaureate Mass. Circle Drive Entry for Baccalaureate Mass will open at 5:15 PM.
- For Commencement, Circle Drive Entry will open for guest check-in at 3:00 PM. On graduation day, guests should have their digital ticket ready when they enter the line. Tickets may only be forwarded one time. Be mindful when sending tickets to your guests. Once their ticket is used, there will be NO RE-ENTRY.
TICKETS - GRADUATION DAY ONLY
Each graduating senior will receive 8 tickets via GOFAN in their OLP email on Tuesday, May 19.
Students who have not fulfilled their financial obligations through the Finance Office will need to have their obligations cleared prior to receiving their tickets. All guest attendees will be entering through the Green Gates off Circle Drive (at the corner of Oregon and Copley Avenue). There will be NO RE-ENTRY once your ticket has been used. Do NOT select “use tickets” prior to entering the Graduation at Circle Drive.
Please note that tickets can only be shared once via GOFAN.
ADA SEATING
ADA accessible seating will be available in a limited capacity and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
ADDITIONAL EVENT DETAILS
Attendees will be asked not to stand during the ceremony but to remain in their chosen seats. Out of respect for our graduates, please avoid bringing any artificial noise makers, large signs, or balloons, as these items will be confiscated at the entrance and held in a safe place for you to pick up as you exit.
