Our life is a constant search for meaning, purpose and understanding. Sometimes we can feel as though we’re on a path with so many unanswered questions. But what God has in store for all of our futures is so much greater than anything we can imagine. The Cast and Crew from the OLP Drama Department invite YOU to Annie in the new St. Therese Theater.

Annie the musical is a heartwarming story about a young orphan named Annie who dreams of finding her parents. Set during the Great Depression in New York City, Annie lives in a run-down orphanage run by the mean Miss Hannigan. Despite the harsh conditions, Annie remains optimistic, believing that one day her parents will return for her.

Her life takes a turn when she is chosen to spend Christmas at the mansion of billionaire Oliver Warbucks. Initially focused on his business and wealth, Mr. Warbucks grows fond of Annie and decides to help her search for her family. However, Miss Hannigan, along with her brother Rooster and his girlfriend Lily, concocts a plan to deceive Warbucks and claim a reward for finding Annie’s "parents."

In the end, with the help of Mr. Warbucks, his secretary Grace, and the local police, Annie uncovers the truth and finds a new family in Mr. Warbucks. The musical, filled with memorable songs like “Tomorrow” and “It’s a Hard Knock Life,” is a timeless tale of hope, resilience, and the power of family.
