Leigh Uhlenkott ’91 has joined the clinical team at Elevations, a residential treatment center located just north of Salt Lake City. Elevations specializes in providing guidance and support to adolescents aged 13-18 struggling to find hope and acceptance by helping them overcome challenges stemming from mental health problems and emotional and learning disorders to regain their self-confidence, happiness, and reconnection to their lives. Leigh is passionate about working with adolescents with multiple disorders and brings more than 20 years of experience to her new position. After graduating from OLP, Leigh received her B.A. in Communications and Psychology from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. She continued her studies at Nova Southeastern University where she earned a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. She worked as a Clinical Director at a therapeutic boarding school for boys specializing in learning disabilities and 14 years dedicated to wilderness therapy programs in North Carolina. In the words of Jordan Killpack, clinical director at Elevations: “Leigh brings decades of experience working with youth, working with families and brings an exceptionally positive energy to our team.” Congratulations, Leigh, on your new position.
